Coronavirus Numbers for February 5th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,010 positive cases, an increase of 4 over the previous day.  Of those, 46 are currently active.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 546,955 positive cases (an increase of 1,518 over the previous day) and 5,992 deaths, an increase of 41 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 24,634, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 129,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19, the state’s top health agency indicates Wednesday.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 129,766 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 659,025 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,871 positive and 84 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,672 positive and 98 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,552 positive and 22 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,368 positive and 169 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,759 positive and 20 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,480 positive cases and 68 deaths.
