Sunday, April 15th, 2012 -- 10:40 AM
April is National Distracted Driver Awareness Month and motorists are being reminded that anytime they're behind the wheel, their sole focus should be on driving. Distracted driving can come in many forms - from using a cell phone, chatting with a passenger, eating, grooming, or adjusting the radio. The common denominator is that it's dangerous - resulting in over 3,000 traffic fatalities and some 450,000 injuries along U.S. roadways each year. In Wisconsin, distracted driving is defined as any activity causing a driver to be "so engaged or occupied as to interfere with the safe driving of a vehicle."Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
