Badger Winter Games Generates Profit

Organizers of the Badger State Winter games have crunched the numbers and concluded this year's event generated a profit. The Wausau/Central Wisconsin Convention and Visitor's Bureau's Sports Authority says the games brought in a revenue of $69,000 with expenses of roughly $59,000 for a profit of $10,000. In addition, the Sports Authority estimates the economic impact for the area is nearly $596,000.
