Home Destroyed After a Fire on Sunday

-A home is destroyed after a fire on Sunday.According to WEAU, the Thorp Fire Chief says the home was on Roger Creek Avenue, alongside Highway 29. Firefighters were called to the home around noon on Sunday. The chief says the family was deep frying a turkey and it caught the house on fire. The home is destroyed. No one was hurt in the fire.
Owen, Stanley, and Boyd Fire Departments assisted with the fire. Crews were on scene for about four hours. The Red Cross is helping the family out.
