Memorial Medical Center Welcomes New Staff

-The Memorial Medical Center announces the addition of four medical staff members to the community.?We know how competitive health care can be, and we also recognize the need to have the best medical staff at MMC for our patients. We have recruited four of the best,? commented Bob Barth, President of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Maureen Kidd, General Surgeon, joined MMC?s surgical team at the beginning of 2012. She earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and completed post-graduate training in general surgery at Michigan State and a burn fellowship at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.
Dr. David Carlson, Orthopedic Surgeon, received his formal training at University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota. He is certified by the Minnesota Orthopedic Society, Twin City Orthopedic Society, and the American College of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Amy Schneider, a resident of Greenwood, joined the MMC staff earlier this year. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and completed her residency at the United Family Medicine Residency program in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Joanne Bakken, Nurse Practitioner, received her training from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. Ms. Bakken will begin her career at MMC assisting patients in the emergency room.
