Two District Seats Tie in Elections

-In the recent Clark County elections candidates in two district elections didn?t win or lose, they tied.Art Petke and Clark Turner each received 52 votes for the District 12 seat and Dale Mitte and Don Kirn each received 120 votes for the District 24 seat.
The votes still need to be certified, but it appears that those seats will be determined by a coin flip or by drawing a straw.
Clark Turner said he wouldn?t be upset if his bid for a district seat came down to chance. "I don't know any other way to settle it," Turner said. "We're sure not going to spend extra money to try and resolve it."
