Man Faces Homocide Charges in Marathon County

-A man accused of driving drunk and breaking through the ice on a Marathon County reservoir is facing a homicide charge in the death of a passenger in his vehicle.According to a Marathon County Press Release, thirty-year-old William Bowden appeared in Marathon County Circuit Court yesterday on charges, including homicide by drunken driving. Bowden and Timothy Spindler were ice fishing Jan. 7 on the Big Eau Pleine Reservoir when the vehicle Bowden was driving broke through the ice. Bowden escaped, but the 34-year-old Spindler drowned.
His body was recovered the following day.
