Coronavirus Numbers for February 3rd

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,105 positive cases, an increase of 2 over the previous day.  Of those, 48 are currently active.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 544,260 positive cases (an increase of 1,095 over the previous day) and 5,937 deaths, an increase of 40 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 24,460, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 108,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19, the state’s top health agency indicates Wednesday.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 108,713 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 578,336 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,833 positive and 80 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,597 positive and 98 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,550 positive and 22 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,336 positive and 169 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,757 positive and 20 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,439 positive cases and 67 deaths.
