Marshfield Woman in Three Vehicle Crash

Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 -- 8:30 AM

-A Marshfield woman was sent to the hospital after a three car crash.

According to the Marshfield News Herald, an 18-year-old Marshfield woman was treated and released from Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital following the crash on Tuesday at the intersection of Central Avenue and Doege Street.
Taylor Lea Jensen was stopped at a green light on Central Avenue while she waited to turn left onto Doege Street.

According to the Marshfield Police Department accident report, Jensen told responding officers that there was a lot of traffic, and she didn't see any vehicles, so she proceeded into the intersection to turn left when her vehicle collided with the vehicle driven by Dale Machtan, 60, of Marshfield.
According to the report, Jensen failed to yield the right of way.

Machtan swerved to avoid a collision, but struck Jensen's vehicle, causing it to strike a vehicle driven by Todd Kuckkahn, 53, of Stevens Point, who was waiting at the red light on Doege Street
