The Neillsville Fire Department responded to the report of a shed fire yesterday evening.
According to the Neillsville’s Fire Chief, around 6:47pm, they received reports of a shed fire at W4125 Moonlight Road in the Township of Grant. When they arrived, they discovered a dry box fan with fire coming out of it. The owner stated that he had been working in the shed on a motorcycle with a heater, so that’s believed to be the cause.
The department was on scene for 40 minutes, they had no injuries on their part, and they received mutual aid with water from the Granton Fire Department and the Neillsville Ambulance service was on standby.
