-The fourth defendant arrested in a March 2011 Methamphetamine manufacturing lab raid was sentenced on Monday.Justine Bazinet, 39, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and three years extended supervision upon her release. She was also ordered to pay $3,064.80 in costs associated with her arrest last March.
Bazinet was one of four arrested in the March raid of a home near Loyal. However, she was one of the last to be sentenced because she fled the state after her arrest. She spent several months in Minnesota before she was caught and brought back to Clark County for sentencing.
Bazinet also had a 3-year probationary sentence added to her charges due to the large purchase of cough medicine, containing pseudoephedrine, a main ingredient in Meth. She also was initially charged with four other crimes, but they were dismissed and read in to the court record.
Bazinet has a trial occurring, Feb. 17th, in Wisconsin Rapids for similar charges
