Loyal Teacher to Receive Grant

-Cindy Campbell, a teacher in Loyal, was selected to receive 10,000 dollar fellowship grant.The grant came from the Constructing Liberty Fellowship Teaching American History Program. Mrs. Campbell will be networking with other teachers, scholars, and other historical resources dedicated to the improvement of history education at all grade levels.
The fellowship grant project will focus on the 20th century civil rights movement as well as studies on historical events and times when Americans chose to return to the theme of the Declaration of Independence.
The program is available to educators from an American History grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
