RECALL PETITION WORKERS HAVE WEBCAM AUDIENCE
Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 -- 10:31 AM
State workers processing the petition signatures to recall Republican Gov. Scott Walker have an Internet audience. The Government Accountability Board is live streaming the review process via a webcam. The single camera which is focused on employees reviewing and scanning documents was donated by a local technology company and GAB spokesman Reid Magney says it's the first time the board has set up a webcam.
Magney says he not sure how much interest the live feed will generate over the long term as he compares the process to watching paint dry. At first, employees will work two shifts to handle the volume of signatures.
