Local Grocery Store To Close

Another small town grocery store will be closing its doors.The [i]Marshfield NewsHerald [/i]reports Spencer SuperValu will liquidate their remaining inventory this week.
33 employees will be impacted.
The store?s owner cites more competition with grocers in Marshfield and decreased foot traffic due to the Highway 13 construction project.
Spencer officials are exploring ways to encourage the reopening of the store, which is the community's only grocer.
