Coronavirus Numbers for January 30th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,087 positive cases, an increase of 4 over the previous day.  Of those, 57 are currently active.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 539,915 positive cases (an increase of 1,567 over the previous day) and 5,860 deaths, an increase of 49 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 24,154, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 90,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19, the state’s top health agency indicates Wednesday.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 90,668 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 476,855 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,787 positive and 79 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,498 positive and 97 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,543 positive and 22 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,268 positive and 169 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,751 positive and 20 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,370 positive cases and 66 deaths.
