A 37-year-old Neillsville man is facing charges after he allegedly shot a gun during domestic dispute last week, and one of the bullets ended up in another person?s house, about 1,000 feet away.According to the criminal complaint, Eric Ostrander was in an argument with his wife on Friday morning at their residence on 9th Street. The woman left the room.
That's when, Ostrander admits, he shot a .45-caliber handgun out his porch door in an attempt to ?scare? his wife.
About the same time as the domestic dispute, a woman that lives on East 6th Street reported a bullet had entered her house through a kitchen window.
Ostrander is charged with domestic disorderly conduct by use of a dangerous weapon, negligent handling of a weapon and second-degree reckless endangerment.
Ostrander is free on a $650 cash bail and is due in court for an initial appearance on December 22.
