Babcock, Wis. (Clark County 4-H) - 4-H Fall Camp: The Action of Leadership at the Sandhill Recreation Area in Babcock, November 11-12. While at camp 4-H members practiced leadership skills while learning about and creating videos. Camp began with a how-to and practice session on using digital camcorders and computer based editing equipment. Campers were divided into teams where they practiced communication and decision making skills and created a script for their film. Campers practiced teamwork, problem solving and understanding others while filming and editing their videos. 4-H members also worked together on learning about teambuilding exercises and ice breakers that they would be able to adapt and take back to their clubs and share.
4-H members also had the opportunity to meet other 4-H members from their own county and others. Leadership Camp is one of the many programs 4-H offers throughout the winter months.
