Coronavirus Numbers for January 29th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,083 positive cases, an increase of 10 over the previous day.  Of those, 60 are currently active.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 538,348 positive cases (an increase of 1,802 over the previous day) and 5,811 deaths, an increase of 24 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 24,063, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 83,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19, the state’s top health agency indicates Wednesday.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 83,055 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 432,102 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,769 positive and 77 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,475 positive and 97 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,544 positive and 21 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,234 positive and 169 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,746 positive and 20 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,345 positive cases and 66 deaths.
