Town of Washburn Accident Sends Pair To Hospital

The Clark County Sheriff?s Department is investigating a serious accident that sent two people to the hospital Sunday night.Chief Deputy Jim Backus says a car driven by 36-year-old Ninfa Santiago-Perez of Neillsville was traveling northbound on Pray Avenue, south of Pineview Road in the Town of Washburn, when it left the road and rolled several times in the ditch.
Santiago-Perez and her passenger, 32-year-old Rick Elmhorst of Neillsville, were injured.
She was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville by ambulance; he was airlifted to St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield with serious injuries.
Their conditions are not known.
