We have a correction to make about a story we ran Wednesday.The story about the changes to the Neillsville Taxi Service implied there will no longer be a 2nd ?back-up? taxi running during the week.
That is not accurate.
The back-up taxi operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The city budget, which is up for adoption next week, includes the elimination of [u]one hour of service for the 2nd taxi on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday[/u].
The taxi service will continue to operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
