A local county will allow people to carry concealed weapons in some county buildings.According to WEAU-TV, the Chippewa County Board voted down a proposal this week that would have prohibited concealed weapons in all county buildings.
'Wisconsin's' ban on carrying concealed weapons will be lifted November 1. The new law specifically bans the carrying of concealed weapons in certain government buildings, such as courthouses, but requires municipalities to take action to ban them elsewhere.
Clark County Clerk Christina Jensen says Clark County plans to prohibit the carrying of concealed weapons at all county buildings. To do so, they?ll have to post five-by-seven inch signs at every entrance to those buildings.
