AREA WOMAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

Authorities say a Black River Falls woman tried to kill two people when she tried to run them down with her car after receiving unwanted phone calls from them.24-year-old Destinee Link is charged with attempted homicide after the incident earlier this month where, authorities say, she struck a woman and her boyfriend with her vehicle.
The man allegedly broke the car?s windshield and was taken to the hospital with a broken arm and head injuries. The female victim did not seek medical attention.
The incident followed a threatening early morning phone call.
