MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER RECEIVES DONATION

A new foundation to support Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville has received its first donation.The Memorial Medical Center Foundation has been in the works for several years, but recently received its first donation: a check for $1,000 from Jeanette Steiner of Granton in honor of her late husband, Francis.
The Foundation Board is currently in the process of finalizing its funding priorities.
According to a press release, the foundation will help keep the facility financially viable. MMC plans to build a new hospital by 2015.
