SUDDENLY FALL

The weather has taken an abrupt turn from summer to fall.After a few days in the 80s, the highs Tuesday are only going to be in the mid-60s. Wednesday will be cooler still, with highs around 55.
And then, Wednesday night, there?s a chance of frost.
It?s actually not all that early for the first frost of the year. [url=http://www.crh.noaa.gov/news/display_cmsstory.php?wfo=arx&storyid=57564&source=0]According to the National Weather Service in La Crosse[/url], our listening area usually gets the first frost of the year before September 25.
The first freeze of the year usually happens between September 21 and 30.
