DAIRYLAND WALKERS VISIT HIGHGROUND TRAILS

The Dairyland Walkers, the local American Volkssport Association affiliate club, sponsors 18 year-round/seasonal walks and one bike event. Several one-day events are sponsored throughout the year. These walks are open to everyone. There is no age restriction. At the start points, each walker must obtain a start card and have it stamped at each checkpoint. Upon completion of the walk, all walkers must turn in the start card at the finish table, even if you participate for free.On Sunday, September 11th 65 walkers hit the 4 miles of hiking trails on The Highground. Warm sunny skies greeted the walkers who enjoyed the trails and the tributes which The Highground has to offer. The Highground is a place for all of us.
