CLARK CO. SUPERVISOR RESIGNS

A member of the Clark County Board has resigned.Roger Alger of Thorp submitted his resignation to Clark County Clerk Christina Jensen on Tuesday morning. The resignation was effective immediately.
Alger served on several important committees, including Personnel, Executive and Finance, which he chaired.
The Finance Committee, which is just beginning work on the county?s new budget, met Wednesday and was expected to elect a new chairperson and have a new member appointed.
Board Chairman Wayne Hendrickson is expected to appoint someone to fill out the remainder of Alger?s term on the board at a meeting on September 20th.
