GUN DISCHARGES, GRANTON MAN SHOT IN ARM

A Granton man was airlifted to the hospital after he was accidentally shot in the arm with a handgun.According to Chief Deputy Jim Backus of the Clark County Sheriff?s Department, the 56-year-old man was cutting firewood on his property at W3003 Granton Road when a handgun he had with him fell and discharged, shooting him in the right arm.
Officials were called out at around 1:30 p.m.
The man was airlifted to St. Joseph?s Hospital. His condition is not known.
