DeMARRIAS APPEARS IN COURT

An 18-year-old Neillsville man who led authorities on a four-hour manhunt earlier this month has been charged.Christopher DeMarrias triggered the search effort after he allegedly escaped from custody while receiving medical care at Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville. He fled, and was eventually apprehended at a residence on Moonlite Road, just west of Neillsville in the Town of Pine Valley.
DeMarrias appeared in Clark County Circuit Court yesterday for a bond hearing. He?s charged with two felonies: Escape and Burglary, and three misdemeanors.
He was ordered held on a $20,000 cash bond and will be back in court for his initial appearance on September 22.
