Coronavirus Numbers for January 27th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,068 positive cases, an increase of 10 over the previous day.  Of those, 61 are currently active.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 535,218 positive cases (an increase of 1,301 over the previous day) and 5,753 deaths, an increase of 54 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 23,883, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,710 positive and 77 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,389 positive and 97 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,535 positive and 21 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,162 positive and 169 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,741 positive and 20 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,280 positive cases and 65 deaths.
