INVESTIGATION CONTINUES IN CLARK CO. MAN'S DEATH

The Clark County Sheriff's Department is continuing its investigation into the death of a 22 year old Greenwood man who was hit by a train in the Town of Green Grove. Initial investigation indicates shortly after 2:30 am on Sunday, July 31st, Andrew G. Sandelier, 22, Greewood, was walking eastbound along CTH N near Atwood. The victim was with friends when he had stopped on the railroad tracks as a northbound train was approaching. Sandelier was unable to exit off of the tracks before being struck by the train. Coroner Richard Schleifer pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The Clark County Sheriff's Department in cooperation with Canadian National Railroad continues working in the investigation.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
