FARM TECH DAYS NUMBERS UP
Monday, August 1st, 2011 -- 11:33 AM
Better weather for Farm Technology Days this year meant better attendance numbers as well. The University of Wisconsin-Extension says around 60,000 visitors west through the gates at Seehafer Acres in Marathon County during the 3-day show last month. This year's show had ideal conditions and a centralized location for many people to enjoy the exhibits and participate in farm tours and field demonstrations. Nearly $1,900 was raised from the first ever Farm Technology Days Benefit Auction. Proceeds will be used to help future counties hold the show and for college scholarships. Farm Tech Days will held in Outagamie County July 17-19, 2012 on the Sugar Creek Farms and Heideman Farms near New London.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
