SEX OFFENDER TO LIVE NORTH OF NEILLSVILLE

The Clark County Sheriff?s Department is letting the public know a convicted sex offender is moving into the area.
43-year-old Troy Arp had previously served his sentence and was released from prison. As of August 1, he will reside at W4749 Granton Road. That?s north of Neillsville, just east of the intersection between Granton Road and STH 73.
Arp served a prison sentence for burglary during which he attempted to sexually assault an adult female while armed with a knife. Other conviction behaviors include sexual assault of a pre-pubescent female.
His criminal history places him in a classification level which reflects the potential to re-offend.
Arp is described as 5? 7?, white, and approximately 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. We?ll post a picture on the news page of our website.
