Coronavirus Number for November 7th

-Taking a look at some local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 1,210 positive cases.  Of those, 269 are currently active and 91 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has 21 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 2,273 positive cases.  Of those 588 are active.  Wood has had 15 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 256,065 positive cases (an increase of 6,141 over the previous day) and 2,256 deaths, an increase of 62 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 12,554, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 2,604 positive, Eau Claire has seen 4,716 positive, Jackson has seen 771 positive, Marathon has seen 6,269 positive and Taylor has seen 643 positive.

Marathon has had 71 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 26 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 30 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 9 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 2 people die from the virus.
