MONTANA MAN ACCUSED IN FATAL ACCIDENT ENTERS PLEA

A Montana man charged in a crash that killed a man from Black River Falls in Great Falls, MT has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide while under the influence.Loren Joseph Spottedeagle, 26, entered his plea Thursday for the June 3 crash that killed 23-year-old Jason Jowett of Black River Falls.
Prosecutors allege Spottedeagle was driving a minivan that rear-ended a pickup truck, causing a crash that killed Jowett, a passenger in the pickup.
Witnesses told officers Spottedeagle had been kicked out of a bar and hit a car in the parking lot just minutes before the fatal crash.
His trial is set for Sept. 26.
