NEILLSVILLE SCHOOL SEES BIG TURNOVER

There will be a lot of news faces at Neillsville Public Schools next year.On Monday night, the board approved the retirements of 13 teachers, 1 school psychologist and 3 support staff employees. 3 of the teachers are in the middle school and there are 5 each in the elementary and high school.

The school board also approved a project to improve the school?s baseball facility.
The Neillsville Youth Baseball Association has gathered around $32,000 of materials to improve the baseball diamond. The school board approved spending an additional $16,000 to assist with the project. $3,500 of that will be paid back to the district.
The project will include new fencing, drain tile and dugouts.
