A recount of Clark County?s votes in the recent Wisconsin Supreme Court race is done, and the results didn?t change all that much.Clark County Clerk Christina Jensen says the Board of Canvass finished recounting the votes on Monday night.
Justice David Prosser lost 6 votes and challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg lost 2?so a net gain of 4 votes for Kloppenburg, who would have to make up more than 7,000 votes around the state to flip the election.
Jensen says the process cost about $2,600: $1,600 for wages for the canvassers and over a $1,000 just to renew a software license to count votes tabulated on electronic voting machines.
