Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 -- 2:57 PM
A crew with the Late Show With David Letterman made a stop in Greenwood this week to film a segment that might air in the next few weeks.Letterman?s roving reporter, Biff Henderson, toured the Clark County community Tuesday morning.
"What brings me here? I got here by plane," Henderson joked
No, seriously? Biff was in town to a shoot a recurring segment called ?Biff Henderson?s Small Town America."
"We go to small towns. We've been to one small town in between 12 and 13 states. We've never been to Wisconsin," he noted. "Greenwood fit the profile of what we traditionally look for for these segments."
"They have some interesting stories going on here," Henderson said.
And while Biff and the crew will be looking for some humor, it?s all in good fun.
"Humor is every place. It may be a good PR plug for the town, you never know. We're not here to make fun of anybody, that's for sure. We're here to have fun," he explained.
Although he couldn?t help getting one shot in.
"I find these places very interesting. Most of these people have a life... not much of one," Henderson laughed.
The 6-man crew packed into 3 vehicles, including an RV. They got a tour of the city and planned stops at a number of businesses.
There?s no word on when the segment will air, but will likely be sometime in May.
