PESSIMISM OVER ECONOMY REMAINS

A new poll shows that Wisconsin residents are pessimistic about the next 12 months.Only 41% of respondents think they'll be better off financially by this time next year, according to a Wisconsin Public Radio poll. That's down from 55% in the fall.
Only 25% of respondents say their finances are better now than they were a year ago; 44% say their situation is worse.
The poll was conducted by St. Norbert College. It was conducted between April 5 and Monday.
