Coronavirus Numbers for January 22nd

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,031 positive cases, an increase of 13 over the previous day.  Of those, 80 are currently active.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 528,101 positive cases (an increase of 2,177 over the previous day) and 5,607 deaths, an increase of 45 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 23,445, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,599 positive and 74 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,233 positive and 95 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,514 positive and 20 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,010 positive and 168 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,718 positive and 19 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,180 positive cases and 63 deaths.
