THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.
* SNOW MIXING IN WITH RAIN BY MID AFTERNOON BECOMES ALL SNOW BY EARLY TUESDAY EVENING. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR COULD OCCUR.
* ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 9 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE. HIGHEST AMOUNTS MORE LIKELY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 29 IN WISCONSIN.
* RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC COULD BE IMPACTED BY FALLING SNOW ON TUESDAY WITH CONDITIONS DETERIORATING AS THE EVENING WEARS ON.
