DEMS TRYING TO SAVE SENIORCARE

Wisconsin Assembly Democrats are asking state residents to sign a petition protesting proposed changes to a popular drug prescription plan for seniors.Assembly Democrats will begin circulating petitions in each district urging Gov. Scott Walker to save rethink changes that would force SeniorCare enrollees to also enroll with the federal Medicare Part D plan.
Under this plan, SeniorCare would only cover gaps in the Medicare Part D coverage. Walker says the plan would save the state an estimated $15 million. Opponents have called the plan a "hidden tax" on the elderly.
