MOCK TORNADO WATCH AND WARNING THURSDAY

To encourage county residents to be prepared for severe weather, Clark County Emergency Management is promoting 'Wisconsin's' Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week. The statewide tornado drill will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011. For the Clark County, the mock tornado watch begins at 1 p.m. and the mock tornado warning will be from 1:30-1:35 p.m. The drill concludes when the mock tornado watch ends at 2 p.m.Additionally, Clark County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service are bringing SKYWARN Storm Spotter School to Greenwood. This free two-hour class will be held on Thursday, April 21st from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Greenwood High School Cafetorium, 306 W Central Ave, Greenwood, WI. Learn about cloud formations, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flash flooding. Help protect your community ?serve as the eyes and ears of the National Weather Service!
