DRUNKEN DRIVING CONTINUES TO BE A CONCERN
Saturday, March 12th, 2011 -- 9:19 AM
State safety officials say drunken driving continues to be of concern. A person is killed or injured in an alcohol-related crash every two hours in Wisconsin. They also note there are nearly 40,000 drunken driving convictions in Wisconsin every year. 3 out of 4 of those were first time convictions. For those who are convicted with a blood or breath alcohol level of .15 or higher, and all repeat drunken drivers, it means installation of an ignition interlock device on every vehicle they own. Not to mention stiff fines and much higher insurance premiums.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
