An Osseo man is being charged in Trempealeau County after he was accused of not paying contractors.
According to court documents, a woman stated she entered into a contract with Travis Thronson to have work done on her home in June of 2019. Thronson was paid $128,389.42 for the work.
In November of 2019, the woman stated she started getting calls from subcontractors stating that they hadn’t been paid. Thronson assured her they would be paid from the money she had already provided him.
However, in December the calls continued and she received invoices that totaled $57,309.67. She had to pay the subcontractors using her own money. Thronson is being charged with theft by contractor and he’s scheduled to appear in court on March 16th.
