PUBLIC SCHOOLS BRACE FOR BIG CUTS

Gov. Scott Walker will deliver his budget address next week, and public school officials are preparing for the worst.The Wisconsin Association of School Boards says Walker is expected to slash general school aid by $900-million--or roughly 10%, over the next two years.
Other reports indicate Walker will push for a $500 per member decrease in per pupil aid.
Walker will deliver his budget address on Tuesday.
