BRUCE MOUND BACK ON THE AGENDA

Nearly two weeks after taking action to get out of operating Bruce Mound next winter, the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department will meet again on Thursday with a large crowd expected.?Bruce Mound Management? is again on the agenda for discussion and possible action, as is ?Department Reorganization? and an ?Interdepartmental Agreement with Highway Department for Sharing of Labor Resources and Equipment.?
Forestry and Parks administrator Rick Dailey told us last week that he believes selling or leasing Bruce Mound will free up his employees to do other jobs for the county, including possibly plowing snow for the Highway Department. He also said it could lead to some layoffs.
The meeting Thursday will be at 9 a.m. in the Clark County Auditorium.
