MANY BUSINESSES RECOGNIZED AT NEILLSVILLE CHAMBER BANQUET

The Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual RecognitionBanquet at the Neillsville American Legion Post 73 last (Saturday)
night.
A number of area businesses were recognized, including Memorial
Medical Center, which was honored as the Business of the Year, Dan
Bautch of Bautch Repair received the Entrepreneur of the year and
Calla Ville Dairy received the Agri-business of the Year for hosting
the Chamber's June Dairy Breakfast.
The Highground received a Special Salute and the Central Wisconsin
Horse Sale was recognized for 30 years of operation.
Dawn Arndt and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans were recognized for
their volunteer efforts and Chamber Executive Director Cindy Schwanz
received a surprise award for her five years of service.
On top of the awards, the Chamber also took care of some business,
adopting a number of objectives for the coming year, including adding
15 new members, increasing tourism spending and continue website
promotions.
