WALKER LIMITS LOCATION OF WIND TURBINES
Sunday, January 16th, 2011 -- 9:24 AM
A proposal to limit the location of wind turbines in Wisconsin by Gov. Scott Walker could have adverse effects on many planned wind farms. The proposal would keep wind turbines from being located within 1800 feet of any residence. The current standard is 1200 feet. Supporters of renewable energy say this proposal would effectively kill wind power development in the State of Wisconsin. Gov. Walker says this proposal would benefit property owners.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
