SECRET SANTA GIVES $1,000 IN MARSHFIELD

Organizers of Marshfield?s Rotary Winter Wonderland say a Secret Santa made quite a donation last night."Someone came down to the park and put a donation of $1,000 into the bucket. This was during the snowstorm," spokesperson Marty Anderson says.
It's the 3rd year in a row that someone has anonymously donated $1,000.
"It was actually ten, crisp $100 bills," Anderson explains. "It warmed everyone's spirits down at the park."
This holiday lights display at Wildwood Park and Zoo is free, but gathers donations of non-perishable food items for local pantries. Nearly 47,000 food items were donated through the Winter Wonderland last year.

The display will be open from 5-9 p.m. every night from the opening through Wednesday, January 1.
