Coronavirus Numbers for January 18th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,989 positive cases, an increase of 32 since Friday.  Of those, 94 are currently active.  Clark County has had 54 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 521,794 positive cases (an increase of 1,606 over the previous day) and 5,451 deaths, an increase of 1 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 23,076, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,513 positive and 72 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,106 positive and 92 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,492 positive and 20 deaths.

Marathon has seen 12,883 positive and 167 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,695 positive and 19 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,112 positive cases and 63 deaths.
